Colorado weddings aren’t just for cowboys – but that doesn’t mean you have to leave your boots at home. Beaver Creek’s exclusive mountain vistas make the memories that your guests will treasure for years to come, whether they’re hiking through fields of summer wildflowers, dining on fresh-caught Colorado trout or riding off on horseback into the sunset. Need more to keep the gang busy? How about pampering spas, Tom Fazio-designed fairways, exclusive boutiques and an outdoor adventure park? For your luxury mountain wedding, make it Beaver Creek.

History & Culture

When George Townsend first settled in the valley in 1881, he knew he'd found something special – an exceptional mountain, lined with aspen groves and beautiful vistas that would become a world-remowned destination.  In 1972, Vail continued his vision by purchasing the land and began designing a resort that combined western hospitality and European charm.  After obstacles delayed completion, Beaver Creek finally opened on December 15th, 1980.
